"Spring Slopes-Rocky Mountain National Park"

Oil Pastel on Board, 8 X 10

$450 framed, plus estimated $ 25 shipping, handling, insurance

Status:  available

Rocky Mountain National Park is a place where there often seems to be two seasons going on at the same time.  This scene has the remnants of winter and the fresh leaves of spring before a storm that threatens. (1104)

 "Mesa Verde Layers"

Oil Pastel On Board, 8 x 10

$410 framed, plus estimated $15 shipping, handling, and insurance

Status:  available

I have always been drawn to layers of mountains, but I had never seen this many layers in a mesa-here at Mesa Verde National Park.  The afternoon sun added even more dimension to the scene.  (1103)

"Rocky Mountain Gateway"

Oil On Board, 8 x 10

$650 framed, plus estimated $15 shipping, handling, insurance

Status:  available

When I drove through this mountain that was severed to put in the road, I was so struck by the colors left behind, that I had to turn around and take a picture.  It is amazing how rocks and dirt can be their own work of art.  (1101)

 "High Desert Greens"

Oil on Board, 11 x 14

$930 framed, plus estimated $25 shipping, handling, insurance

Status:  Available

What strikes many visitors to New Mexico is not only the amount of green in the high desert landscape, but the range of greens from spring to grey green.  This painting is an attempt to capture them all.  (1102)
